"The cookies were excellent - very soft and chewy (similar to those "Chewy Chips Ahoy" they used to sell). Because they're made with no preservatives, they taste great but have to be stored in the freezer if you plan to keep them. Then I realized they tasted AMAZING frozen on a hot day (we have severe humidity here in upstate New York).
The flavors were all very strong, which I found to be an advantage, especially the lemon and chocolate peppermint flavors. I thought the lemon was perfect, and my father ate most of the chocolate peppermint cookies. He enjoyed them very much (and he's not a vegan). Anyone who likes peppermint would definitely like them (the mint does NOT overshadow the chocolate). The oatmeal and chocolate chip flavors were milder, but still more flavorful than a regular cookie; the oatmeal had a nutty flavor (much closer to actual oatmeal, if you're used to a regular store-bought oatmeal cookie), while the chocolate chip was sweeter and will probably be the closest any vegan can get to a "regular" chocolate chip cookie. Unlike most vegan cookies, these were, as mentioned, very soft and hold a lot more flavor than a spelt or wheat cookie would. Sandra puts a lot of thought into the ingredients (everything on the list seems to be very carefully selected) and this is probably why they taste so excellent. I plan on ordering more and testing these on nonvegans.

"Stranded in Chocolate Chip Paradise!
It's hard to imagine that one innocent little 2 1/2-inch Chocolate Chip Cookie could send me into a frenzy of delight-but it did! Not too crispy and not too chewy, this divine vegan cookie, made of mostly organic ingredients, by Vegan Delights has got it right with a texture that's halfway between. This tiny treat looks undistinguished, but, ohhhh! one bite tells a different story! This diminutive, sweet, chocolaty, and walnutty baby eased my insatiable cookie cravings in an instant. Hmmm, makes me wonder about the other cookies in their cupboard!"

Famous Veggie: "Recently I got a chance to try the chocolate chip cookies by Vegan Delights. Believe me when I tell you that these cookies are chocolaty, nutty perfection. These cookies taste just like the ones your mom used to make except they're made using organic ingredients and they're vegan. How could they get any better than that? The only problem I found with them is you won't be able to eat just one. But who cares eat up they're delicious."

But I have to be honest that we probably wouldn't go out to a health food store and buy things that are seriously good for us. Recently we were given about 9 or 10 sample cookies from "Vegan Delights" and they never made it home! We particularly loved the chocolate-mint variety mainly because of it's rich flavor and it's really soft and chewy. We would never have known they were actually good for us (they tasted as good as any grocery store brand that I've ever tasted) Keep up the good work Sandra, a good product like this is hard to find in today's market place!"
