    Btw, they eat …
Btw, they eat enough to last me 3 months! no kidding, and where I live it would cost me no less than $200 a week.

And yet… I still manage to look healthier :/

  2. HowAboutSomeTruth1 Says:

    In short — you …
In short — you know that crap your mom put on the side of your plate next to the meat and mashed potatoes? that’s what you get to eat.

    Humans aren’t meant …
Humans aren’t meant to break down plant cellulose. Good luck with that.

you cant put a seed …
you cant put a seed in the ground and come back when its a bunch of food? .. You can grow anywhere, it doesn’t have too be near you.

(: also eating only organic meat helps protest against factory farms and your eating animals that did not suffer their whole lifes ;)

    Fruits,veggies, …
Fruits, veggies, legumes, nuts,&roots cost far less than meat!

  8. 00caldwell00 Says:

    i belive that a lot …
i belive that a lot of people go vegetarian because of the low processing standards for meat and added steroids ect.. I myself try to stay away from those types of foods but will eat freerange and organic animal products….it is natural to eat other animals for need, but todays society is rather excessive..

    But you are …
But you are forgetting what a vegetarian is. .lol. Its called vegan diet. xDD no meat.. people who love animals and care for them don’t eat them. It does not matter if its “processed” or not. It’s a dead animal.

    Haha chill out! …
Haha chill out! It’s not even that serious. Your prefer what you prefer and so be it. I wasn’t trying to change your prospective. Actually there is a plenty of science to that show food loses nutrients when cooked. I am not even a raw foodist…hell I eat meat. if you like processed food go for it, it’s your body and no one else. All I can do as a individual is become more aware of what I put in my body and pass my knowledge and experiences to my kids.

  16. MAMorelli Says:

    Then stop calling …
Then stop calling it “raw” and stop with your ridiculous “organic” and “holistic” nonsense. Now I ask you…Do you really think that it would make that much of a difference if you thoroughly heated and cooked your foods rather than warmed. Most vitamins are volatile substances and some are even light sensitive. There is no !science! to support your claims. None. Does this resonate at all? I guess not because this crazy movement is nothing more than a faith based ideology. Just like religion. Ugh

  17. hospitalbedpan1 Says:

    I’m no expert on …
I’m no expert on diets, but common sense tells me this. Raw is raw… by that I mean raw veggies, fruits, and even meat are good to eat.

It’s the processed crap that hurts. I agree with MaMorelli’s comment. If the meat is not processed with all those chemicals, I’ll eat it. Same goes for fruits, veggies.

  18. charidyl Says:

    Eating raw does not …
Eating raw does not mean everything is uncooked but it is more a matter of not heating food over a certain temperature to ensure the most nutrients are going in the body as possible. I have a blend tech blender that warms my raw soups some people use a dehydrator to make other warmed food.

    What’s the longest …
What’s the longest you fasted for? And how often?? I’m trying to transition from vegetarian to vegan

  20. eriwadi2 Says:

You do make a good …
You do make a good point. There are no solely raw food eating cultures. All cultures cook their food and have been for thousands of years. As humans we definately adapt to cooking food. There are also many plant foods that are dangerous or even toxic to eat raw, such as beans and grains. But I do believe that humans benefit from a combination of raw and cooked foods. Raw foods such as certain vegeatbles and fruits can be beneficials.

  21. MAMorelli Says:

    Wow, I see I …
Wow, I see I received a negative 6 on my comment. It seems people need to do their research on the human body and stop all this holistic nonsense. Anyway, to answer your question, eriwadi2, when early hominids starting using fire and cooking their food on the fire it proved to be a major step in our evolution. See, cooking food is a way of partially digesting food, braking it down allowing us to digest more efficiently thus receiving more nutrients. Eating all raw food is a step back & unhealthy

  22. eriwadi2 Says:

    I am a vegan too, …
I am a vegan too, but I am not raw. But I do not understand your comment. What exactly is the danger of eating mostly raw foods?

  23. ConesAreKool Says:

    Hey! Vegans will …
Hey! Vegans will solve world hunger, energy crisis, health problems, water pollution, and now overpopulation!

  24. billoakesattablthree Says:

    Wanted to add that …
Wanted to add that fasting is a great way to get started and I fasted for long lengths. Contrary to what some claim I did not lose muscle but what did happen my body started living off the fat of my body. When I started working out again I was stronger than I have ever been in my life. I am in my fifties and for the first time I have visible muscles showing in my mid section as well as all over. My diabetes is no more – of course if I went back to the old ways it would come back. Veganism works

  25. billoakesattablthree Says:

    I’m middle aged and …
I’m middle aged and I can tell you going vegan will negate the need for ever needing viagra. If you don’t have a partner interested in a physical relationship then don’t go vegan and eat lots of meat, starches, sugar , fried foods and the desire for sex will be supplanted by the excitement of experiencing a long awaited overdue bowel movement. Going vegan will change one’s life radically. I am diabetic and had the complications associated with it – that changes with vegetarianism
